Modern machines updated the production process of silk fabrics, but the basic logic stays the same. The excellent properties of silk make it popular for thousands years, but more the than dozens production procedures makes it a luxury product since the begin.

Different from other fibers, one silk-cocoon is constructed by 1 kilometer long continual thread. This makes me rethink the general rules of silk production. After reeling silk thread from the silk-cocoon, the machine is designed to directly spin several silk threads into a self supported form using nothing but the glue contained by the thread.

Thus the cocoons could be transformed into different forms through coded parameters of machine movements and different form contours, without adhesive and traditional weaving procedure.
